The foreign students left last week Monday and we have been on a mad dash to squeeze in some last minute remodeling before the new school and church calendar year. We barely had the students on the plane before we emptied out Zach and Court's bedrooms and started patching and prepping to paint. Zach took the lead by choosing his colors and ripping off his chair rail. Ron's been at Lowes buying crown molding and new trim for both rooms. Court and Paige had a difficult time choosing paint until they found a great bedspread and throw pillows to get them inspired. Ron has been working all day today patching, sanding, priming, painting, sawing, and more painting! He's working simultaneously on both rooms. We are hoping to finish everything by the end of the week.
Zach and Court started their fall semesters today. Zach is in the final stretch of earning his degree. If all goes well, he'll graduate this December.
We are also helping my mom and sister with their move. They get the keys to their new house on Thursday and we'll be spending the next three days packing and moving them. Fortunately they are only moving around the corner a few blocks - so it will be an easy transition.
We'll post pictures soon.
