Weekend to Remember: "Love Like You Mean It"

For our annual "marriage check-up" this year, we attended the Family Life Ministries: Weekend Getaway in Ontario. (While Ontario isn't exactly a dream destination, the dates fit all our schedules and it was conveniently located - which made it easier for us to get away.)

What a great weekend! It was very well done. The speakers were engaging, humble, funny, encouraging, and REAL.. sharing stories of failures and forgiveness from their own lives and giving HOPE for change - even for those in the worst circumstances.

While there was nothing new in the material, it was so refreshing to sit through a weekend being reminded of the fundamentals and spending time focusing on just this one thing.
