Tilney Update

Unbelieveable!

Just hours after posting that we finally lost hope of ever finding Tilney, someone contacted Ron to let him know that they had found him and had been searching for us. Ron gave me the address and the girls and I rushed right over to pick him up! The kind man who had rescued Tilney from running into traffic had tried to call us and was afraid that if he took him to the pound, he'd be put down. He searched our neighborhood and found one of our missing dog flyers with the new phone number and called us. As we talked to the family (in Spanglish) we found out that they had taken good care of Tilney, tried to comfort him by letting him sleep with the kids, and had other dogs so they knew how to care for him.

We were so surprised to meet such kind and caring people and so glad that Tilney wasn't wandering helplessly in the cold, lost and starving.

Needless to say, we have some happy girls here tonight!

And, Tilney is sporting a brand new collar tag with our home phone number along with our address.
