Just finished putting together a Wives Seminar for our church. Last Tuesday, we had 50 women come out for a fun night about loving our husbands - "Overwhelming Them with Affectionate Love." The SovGrace Church in Gilbert did this a few years ago and was gracious to give us their graphics file and other materials so we could duplicate it here for our ladies.Five of our Care Group Leaders' Wives did a little song and dance skit to the tune of Getting to Know You - from the King and I. They did a great job and added a lot of fun to the evening. Here's a link to a video of their performance: Getting to Know You depicting the funny things that come with getting to know our husbands.
No matter how many marriage retreats or ladies meetings I go to, it's always good to revisit the priority that God puts on our relationship as husband and wife and to be reminded that this is the most important thing that we should be giving our time and energy to.
It's so easy to get distracted with business, running a household, training and teaching the kids, sports and hobbies, serving everywhere and everyone else and neglect our primary relationship - our husbands. Crazy for You was a great way to be reminded.

I am so grateful for the many years of excellent teaching I received at ALCC (Sov. Grace Church of Pasadena) Can you come and do a seminar for us up here in Spokane? Oh, and bring the ladies who did the "Getting To Know You" skit.
