Quick update:
I have an appointment next Wednesday afternoon to get my dialysis catheter removed! I had a final blood test yesterday that confirmed I'm done with dialysis. I can't wait! I do have to go one more time to the dialysis center to have it cleaned and the bandages changed - but then I'm done!
Our kitchen is just about finished...tomorrow we have someone coming to install the counter tops. As soon as I get all the cupboards back in order, I'll post some pictures.
The girls are all in their own bedrooms and enjoying the space! We still have some decorating to do but at least the construction phase is over.
We still have little projects left over like filling in nail holes and painting trim and hanging curtain rods, but we've finally reached a level of the house being relatively "live-able" and comfortable.
I am continuing on the road of recovery. While I am so grateful for the miraculous recovery of my kidney function, I still have a couple more months of chemo / steroid treatments, and struggle with fatigue and weakness. Trying not to be discouraged with the slow process toward remission.

Tami: Thanks for your update. I have been thinking about you and wondering how you're coping with everything.
Everything takes a lot of time and sometimes that's hard to take.
