Paige's Sweet Sixteen

We celebrated Paige's Sweet 16 today with a day-full of activities:

We spent the day at Universal Studios (thank you, Aunt Elly!) with her friends - enjoying a beautiful, sunny reprieve from the rain we've been having lately.

Then Paige and her friends spent the evening cooking a recipe from Julia Child's Cookbook - Beef Bourguignon with Asparagus and Rosette Rolls followed by a Chocolate Torte for dessert.

And, of course, no girls' night is complete at the Boomsma House without a Jane Austen, Dickens - or in this case, an Elizabeth Gadskell movie: Wives and Daughters (same author as North and South).
