One area that we're looking at this year for our resolutions is money - how we talk about it, budget it, spend it, save it...We've recently been challenged with paying close attention to how we're thinking about and managing our money. It's easy to think that just because you don't have a lot of it, there's not much to do in managing it - but we're finding that's not true.
Been reading Dave Ramsey's Books - Total Money Makeover and are looking to do a 16 week course he offers: Financial Peace University with some friends of ours.
Here's a video link to some short videos we're watching that introduce his concepts:
"Life. Money. Hope. Biblical Advice for Difficult Times."
There are three sessions - 30 minutes each:
1. Basics of Biblical Finance
2. Breaking the Bondage
3. #1 Myth of Money
Here's a link to some application questions that we'll be looking at for each session: Talk it Over. (Scroll down to the bottom where it says: life, money, hope and click on the pdf icon.)
