Had a refreshing couple of days away - enjoying absolutely perfect weather
appreciating God's artistry and creativity in the beautiful landscapes and dramatic rocky coastlines,
watching sleepy boats mooring in bays, and lazy elephant seals sunning on sandy beaches,
taking time to be together, talking, listening, reading, being quiet...
visiting our favorite local coffee shop with the very personable and friendly barista
eating lunch overlooking the shimmering bay and watching the seals play in the water
walking and riding bikes around Morro Bay, driving Hwy 1 up to Monterey,
stopping at all the vista points along the coast to view the breathtaking beauty,
walking along Old Fisherman's Warf in Monterey, dining outside at a small Mediterranean Cafe and watching as the merchants set up their booths for the farmers market,
making notes of all the places we want to come back to on our next trip.
